NILE CRUISES TRAVELS FOR 5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS FROM LUXOR TO ASWAN
Day 1:
At 10 a.m., our local personnel will greet and help you at your hotel in Luxor or at the Luxor airport before transferring you to the Nile Cruise. Before lunch, boarding. Lunch served aboard. Sunday tea. Belly Dance performance and dinner aboard.
Day 2 + Lunch
Onboard breakfast followed by tours The Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari are all on the West Bank. excursion to the Valley of Kings; see the temple of Deir El Bahari and the tombs of numerous dynasties. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues of Amenophis III sitting and facing the Nile, on the way back. afterwards pay a visit to the Queen Hatshepsut Temple. Lunch served aboard.Navigate to Esna. The afternoon, tea. Disco Night. Edfu overnight on board.
(Optional; omitted) Starting at sunrise at 4:30 am, take a hot air balloon ride above one of the largest open museums in Luxor.
Day 3:
a meal served on board. Visit the Edfu Temple of Horus. Reach Kom Ombo by sea. Lunch served aboard. Visit the temple in Kom Ombo that is shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Evening tea. Dinner on board and a Galabya celebration Spend the night at sea in Kom Ombo.
Day 4:
Breakfast on board and departure for Aswan Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries, and the Temple of Philae after Aswan Lunch served aboard. Around Kitchener’s Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum, sail the Nile by felucca. Evening tea. Meal served aboard. Aswan, spend the night.
Day 5:
a meal served on board. and disembarkation You will be driven to the Aswan airport (optional; not included). Returning to Aswan from Abu Simbel after visiting the Temple of Abu Simbel The magnificent Temple of Abu Simbel, constructed by Ramses II (XIXth Dynasty) and recently spared from the Nile’s flooding, is one of the wonders of ancient Egypt. The temples were carved with images of the gods to whom each was devoted, and they were constructed out of a sandstone rock cliff. The modest Temple of the King’s wife Nefertari, which is dedicated to the goddess Hathor, is nearby and was also spared.
